Hi, I’m Dr. Teri Murphy!
As the Director of the EFT Tennessee Center, I am passionate about creating opportunities for therapists to grow their clinical skills while building meaningful connections with one another. It is my privilege to provide Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) training, supervision, and consultation to clinicians both nationally and internationally.
My work with individuals and couples has shaped my teaching, which focuses on attachment, emotional engagement, Stage 2 change work, attachment injury repair, and the self of the therapist. I strive to offer experiential, clinically grounded trainings that help therapists deepen their presence, responsiveness, and confidence in supporting clients through moments of pain, vulnerability, repair, secure connection, and lasting change.
I warmly invite the entire EFT Tennessee community—and all EFT therapists, wherever you are in your EFT journey—to join us for training. Whether you are new to EFT, working toward certification, or looking to deepen your practice as an experienced clinician, you are welcome here.
Together, we can continue to strengthen our clinical skills, support one another's growth, and build a vibrant, connected EFT community. I hope you'll join us as we learn, practice, and grow together.

"Today, we have cracked the code of love. We now know what a good love relationship looks and feels like. Even better, we can shape it. For the first time, we have a map that can guide us in creating, healing and sustaining love."
